My initial reaction was disappointment but the more I learn about her I'm seeing this as an extremely shrewd political maneuver. There's a whole lot of disenfranchised cougars out there who are already applauding the choice. 80% bi-partisan support in her state. Neither JM or BHO can make that claim.
