Thats my problem.
Asking for her to pray for the soldiers safe return, etc. I think is fine. If it is a task from God, I end up hearing it as a blues brothers quote. That talk has no place in politics IMHO.
Belief in God is not a bad thing, it's not my thing, but I have Zero problem with it.

I have huge issues with the evangelical and similar influence on the Repubs. while at the basic level, we are a Judeo-Christian based society, we still need to not be saying we are tasked by god to go to war!
