Plugs that dig and get below the commotion - bottle plugs shine in big water. Eelbobs! I sometimes have trouble with rubber core sinkers tangling my running line - an alternative to rubber cores to get the eels down you may want to try pegging an egg sinker above the swivel of your leader. Pegging means to break off a toothpick in the egg sinker to keep it from sliding and allows it to stay snug against the swivel - lots of freshwater bass tricks have applications to what we do.
