this year was the first that i used korkers, and i found the carbides didn't last too long, especially in the rocky boulder-riddled stretches i fish. like rockhoud, i drilled mine out and put 1 in. ss machine screws. i've had them on for a few weeks and they look like they have a ways to go. not to mention they stick like glue to the rocks. give that a shot and stop wasting money on those carbide studs.
