FWIW, it was the same across the bay (near Falmouth/Cotuit) last weekend. Mostly tiny snapper blues (6" or so) that would come over and nip the tails off your 6" sluggos (just enough so they don't wiggle any more) and then disappear. Tiny schools of them (5-6?). No big bait balls anywhere. Weird to see it so barren from a boat where you can cover more water than shore...
