Yeah. Skateboards have tape on their boards called "Grip tape" oddly enough. But when you consider the speed that they are going on halfpipes or even streetskating, this adhesive backed sandpaper isn't enough. That's when they put the shoe goo on. When they do moves like ollies,(jumping with the board following) they need the extra stuff. I'm telling ya, it will add extra traction!
