I agree the Lamiglas Super Surfs are nicest current productions rods and they aren't any more than the Lami Arra series.
IMHO - using the same guides for both spin and conventional was just plain lazy on their Lamiglaes part! Yeah, the Hardloy are may be a whopping 1/3 more expensive. Total cost would have been under $5/rod in the volume they buy. |
Deaf ears. I mentioned this on SOL when Todd Vivian was still a higher-up at Lami and he claimed that the oxide guides were just as good as the Hardaloy.
