Thanks, bassballer -

Pete was going to burn a CD for me of the Habs pix since I was the photog on "assignment" for the Awards and Raffle - well, not so much a gig as Iron Mike handing me a digital camera. Apparently they can't burn CD's at the Edge on their computers there -

I was gonna bring some of my trusty old Nikon stuff but I was running behind and figured folks would have digitals there anyway -

It was fun - hadn't ever really used a digital before - I think they may catch on at some point

Still couldn't get used to not looking thru the viewfinder, though - God it was funny. Most of you guys probably don't know I did it professionally for 25 years, everything from aerial stuff out of planes and helicopters to small product and magazine work, sail racing, etc. Whatever paid the mortgage, everything except forensics I always said. Anyhoooo....

The pix are fun, wanted to capture the first ceremony for what we hope will be an annual event - Iron Mike did shoot a few too - obviously I didn't shoot the one of myself and Alberto, though -

When Pete burns the CD for me I'll clean 'em up in PS (I said I didn't have a digital camera but we do digital imaging from film originals) and post them here.

Take a look at the ones Pete put up - there should be a bunch more -

Don't worry about referring folks to the SWE site, it's kosher with the Cap I'm sure - the SWE is an advertiser here at S-B -

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.
