I was wondering for the stringers layup. I don't want the bilge to remain tacky forever.
I guess if it's dry enough to sand it I'll just sand it. and use finishing resin on parts I know wont need a second application.

If its true laminating resin you can sand to your heart's content and it will still be tacky. Its made to stay tacky so you can make a laminate (duh!) and has to be finished off with a final coat of resin. If I were you I would use an aerobic cure resin to fisnish and skip the wax part.
