You want a large soft plastic for going after large striped bass?
I was flipping through my JannsNetCraft catalog looking at stuff and I went to the soft plastics section and they have an 18 inch worm that's one inch in diameter.
This was meant as a gag gift but this might be just the thing. A rubber bait with realistic dimentions. You can also get the worm hook that comes with it, a 14/0 offset hook!
