I know a guy who went to the canal last year in the heat of the run, he fished with the biggest wild eyes in pearl and I think bunker, he was able to keep up with the guys using live herring, So he says
. I wast there so I don't know but I do think the wild eyes have great/lifelike action... I do not like crippled herring I think the name is very misleading... they do not imitate herring well at all, in my opinion.
