I won't lie to you, I was very nervous as to what kind of reception this book will receive. The Art of Surfcasting with Lures was received better then I could of ever hoped for. With that in mind, I was worried that there is nowhere to go but down. Those who read the manuscript told me that it was actually better but you cannot go by why your friends are saying, regardless how well meaning they might be. First few people that read the book gave me some encouraging feedback but a phone call with Steve McKenna yesterday had me floored. I'll let Steve fill you in on details when he gets his new PC up and running. He told me regardless of his involvement in this project ,that he felt this books was better then first. In fact ,he felt it was the best book ever done on this particular subject. I still have a hard time to believe that anything I am a part of can be called "best" on a good day ,all I ever hoped for was "good"
So thank you all for your support and thanks to all the wonderful contributors who shared their knowledge and helped me make this project a reality. If you think publishing a book with a publisher is hard, try writing/editing/cropping/converting/printing/advertising/selling/recordkeeping all the while working with bunch of very high strung personalities.
Honey ,where did you hid the Prozac?
