Congrats on the Scout!!! The Scout line is one of the best out there and I am sure it will treat you right.
If I recall last year we had mackeral running off of Point Judith in the Nebraska Shoals area, they were plentiful and fun to catch this was mid April, the Striper fishing really did not turn on until May, then it exploded....
