I also have a Windows box because I like to tweak. Upgrades are a snap with a PC. With a Mac,components are somewhat more proprietary. Tho I did upgrade the RAM and hardrive on my Macbook easily.Costwise, a PC can't be beat. With some of the price points now,PC's are almost becoming disposable. Vista,well that's a whole nuther issue.Tho there are speed tweaks for it,it still can be a major biatch at times..I'm wondering how the next Window's OS will be?
I would sum it up as follows:
If you're a hardcore gamer,stick with PC
If you get processor envy and tweak your computer often,stick with a PC
If you're in a newtorked office that uses Windows,stick with a PC

None of the above,a Mac works..

I'm a hardcore gamer and my pc boots up in real short time.Apps run like lightning and my vid card pushes my 27.5 inch monitor on high with no problems.OS is XP Pro because I tried the vista and couldn't stand it's incompatible with most of the applications I use to keep my XP install clean and sound.Can't play games on a MAC so I don't have or want one.They do look cool and all the important people own them.They are also in all the movies.
