Hi, my name is wee wee.
I've been an alcoholic for...oops wrong meeting.
I started fishing at a fairly young age, having grown up in the Great Lakes region.
I got bitten by the saltwater bug not too long ago - after finishing up school in the New England area and moving to the NYC area to work. My first saltwater fish was a keeper sized fluke.
My second saltwater fish was a keeper-sized striper. I will never forget that day as long as I live b/c that is the day I got hooked on surfcasting.
Right now, I'm about 90% surfcaster and 10% boat fisherman (mostly inshore).
I'm hoping to spend more time flyfishing this season.
Up until recently, most of my fishing has been limited to Long Island's south shore. A very extensive survey of which was undertaken under the expert tutelage of a certain crazy guy.
A few years back, my brother-in-law introduced me to Martha's Vineyard. This coincided with my first purchase of a Fish_Eye video which had footage of aforementioned place. I've fallen in love with NE fishing ever since. The trips up to MV from my home in SW CT have opened my eyes to a lot of fishy water in between - and it is only fairly recently that I have been exploring RI and SE Mass.
I met this guy named Bassmaster a while back. He got me hooked on the Cape like you wouldn't believe - that place is like crack cocaine.
BTW, a fella named Tattoo introduced me to this site. You can blame him for bringing me on board a while ago.
I suck as a fisherman.
My aim is to have fun and continue to improve and develop my skill as an angler. And to fish as hard as I can within the constraints of family and work responsibilities.
