HI,my name is walt and have been married for 40 years and have 3 grown sons and 1 grown up daughter.started fishing at 6years old for trout in southern ct.fished fresh for years and started going to cape over 50 years ago on vacation .before national seashore,caught bass,fluke and macs.took all sons fresh water fishing then got them into salt fishing.all sons are great fishermen and catch large,we all try to go to cape at least every year together and fish eels and plastics.had a boat in the 70's and sons took trophy blues every year from striper club.sold boat and did'nt fish much,work and college bills kept me busy.now retired and try to fish surf everyday from end of mar on,catch mainly schoolies during days.fish with sons whenever possible.love this site and made 1 leg last year with son #3 iceman6.hope to make more legs this year if possible.
