This one real steep hill we had for sledding ...you could get a great speed going down it by jumping from a running start and hitting the slope with ultra polished and waxed runners on your sled....
then at the bottom of the hill you could CRANK the steering hard left and spray snow twenty feet...(going sideways) and sometimes do a few wipe outs or roll overs to stop. That was GREAT fun !

Clammer... and we had a deal with the plow drivers...save our most pissah sledding hill for last...
because FRANKLY it was our territory and we had a claim on it....

we'd even LAY our bodies down on the road in protest
daring them to plow us... even...and things sometimes got dangerous and NASTY....

Well, One day they did us first....(OUR HiLL !)
and screwed it all up...
so, i formed a committee and we had an ICE ball production line and saved them in really cold spots
for the next storm.... STOCKPILED like rocks...
we waited in ambush for those BASTAGES to come
and we had our Christmas walkie talkies too
for reconnaissance missions....
10 kids throwing ice BALLs from 50 feet up hill was slamming those trucks soo hard that they finally called the cops...on us... so we'd just change neighborhoods.......
and ambush them again and again... until finally they sent out a negotiator for a PARLE` to hear all of our demands...
we reached a satisfactory arangement and they had to
ask our permission for one,
and had to leave some snow on the sides for sledding or the truce was OFF!
......we Ruled in those days...
