OK, I'm Ross, or Rosco. Been in Marblehead area most of my 45 years. On the water for most of em too, except up till five years ago,, it was focused on making racing sailboats go fast, or building or delivering them to the next race. Hmmm.....five years ago is when I also got divorced after 15 years. And I found great solace and pure pleasure learning about the pursuit of stripers, especially from the surf! It's become a passion. I do get out on the boat and do a little chartering on a friend's 28' Pursuit. (Really using all of that 100 ton ticket, huh Red Crabber?) After 21 yrs managing other people's money, I am now a Gen Contractor, mostly remodeling, finish work, etc.
Got great, well adjusted 10 year old twins, B/G, who will appease dad occassionally and go fishing with him. I am blessed just to be their dad.
Glad to say I am more comfortable in my own skin now than any time I can remember, and fishing helped me get there. Hell, I even fish with others now! I consider fishing one of the major gifts I received from the divorce. Life is good. Not perfect, but good nonetheless. Friend of Bill W.
Would love to see more S-B members venturing up this way.
Thanks to the guys who've assisted me so much, you know who you are. JohnR, carryon, it's all good.
