I got the smaller one from shoalsbaitpens.com. Does the trick for me to compliment the onboard livewell. As far as longevity, it depends on a couple of things. This float just below the surface, so being moored in shallows in hot weather will cut the expected life expectancy. I also am snagging most of my pogies, which can add to mortality.

Anyone selling a pogie net?
