My turn.....my name is Steve, but I go by the handle of Homerun or Saucey.....raised on Long Island and have fished all the waters of Orient Point, Montuak, Hallocks Bay, Sherlter Island, the Dumps, the Race, the Gut, etc.....fortunate enought to have a few boats at my disposal as a kid....moved up to MA about 15 years ago and took a 12 year leave from fishing......got a surf rig about 10 years ago and played around on Matunuck, but needed to get back into a boat....so, I bought the Whaler last spring and really enjoyed BI, PJ and all the Cape (Cuttyhunk, Hyannis, Horseshoe Shoals, Monomoy, etc)... I have fished many waters including Pacific Northwest, Alaskan, Mexico, Chesapeake and Florida. My signiture fish was a 210 pound yellowfin tuna off BI coast.
I am married to a saint (for 14 years now, so I guess I am the "Marriage Grandpa" around here at the tender age of 38)...we have 2 great girls -- Kim who is 11 now and whose nickname is Saucey (hence the boat handle), and Kelly who is 4 (whose nickname is Soupy).....all three of them HATE fishing, so I often get the solitude of early morning fishing in silence on my Whaler.....cast and retrieve.....cast and retrive.........
I am a veteran of the computer industry for 15 years now and am very proficient in all areas of technology....have always been in sales, most notably all enterpsie-wide solutions, including ERP, CRM, PLM/PDM, WMS, APS, MRP/CRP, Asset Management, BI, Analytics, CFPR, Datawarehousing, Data Marts, Logistics and the rest of the alphabet soup technologies.....with the collapse of the technology market 2 years ago, I have found myself looking for work.....it is so slow out there it is pathetic.....guess that just means I'll be fishing everyday this spring and summer....

Too bad for me......
I have had great help from many on this board....too many to mention......all the folks are great and I look to reciprocate in any way I can this year....good luck to all.
