Redlite's right. If people realized the amount of effort/planning/input/failure involved to get the occasional success, you will appreciate his point of view. Its actually like any other place in that you will fail most of the time.
Redlite's also right in stating there's plenty of equally good fishing close to home if its strictly fish you're looking for.

As for fun and relaxation, I spent three days there last fall, fished for a couple hours, and had my most enjoyable fishing trip of the season. Next time I go, I just might leave the rods home

Its also a great place to play wiffleball...
