That stinks for us non-resident-license-to carry holders.

Remember - we have to renew EVERY YEAR - not every four years like residents do.

The application fee is already ridiculous ($50) when you consider the legwork we have to do - passport photos ($10), state background check ($25 where I live) and then don't forget the $1.00 you have to shell out for the postal money order fee since DPS doesn't take personal checks...and THEN the postage. Unbelievable.
