I,m glad for him >.like he,s cares how I feel ;;
But he was a great power hitter & I,m really glad he made it ;; I think it would have been sooner ; But the last few years he played .. he had a chip on his shoulder & said a few things that shouldn,t have been said when he still playing ball in Boston .
That being said ,,,his fourteen year wait .. he has been a real plus for the sport ; to me he had a better attitude & outlook from the pressbox than he did from the dugout ;;
It was more fun back then & it was easier to really cheer for a team or /and a player ;; many player started & ended with the same team ;;many played for the love of the game . Now some may plat for the love of the game / BUT except for a VERY few they all play for the love of the money ... selling your soul & talent to the highest bidder


Nothing shows it so clearly ,than being interviewed .. right after your team wins the world series >> great coach / teamates/ owners/ fans While you agent is selling you too the highest bidder
