I am on the pro staff so I am definately biased.

I will say that what I find great about the AS Finger Shield is that it works for both my index finger when casting a spinner and on my thumb when casting a Conventional.

I use both the gloves and the sheild depending on what I am doing.
They are both priced right.

The reason I think they are a good chioice compared to other products is the sensitivity I get while still having the kevlar over the neoprene to reduce wear.
Sure, they will wear but a lot slower than other gloves with similar sensativity. Of course, just like everything else it helps when a littel effort is taken to care for them like rinsing out once in a while.
