That people who worked hard and tried to do the right thing would be able to afford decent housing and be able to put food on their table. That someone would not be judged by his religion.
It truly sickens me and embarresses me what we have become - The racists things said about Obama when he was running for Pres. was an EMBARRASSMENT! The class warfare going on now is disheartening. This is NOT America (but I still love it and won't consider going to another country).

I never saw the racists things you saw. I think it helped him more then hurt him. IMO
We have the first black President ever. That alone says we've come along way.
