One rod when fishing the surf, two if fishing the canal because, well it's the canal. 5 or more when on the boat. I like the one rod the best. I try to go stealth, as little gear as possible to pick up and move fast. I target about 6-8baits I'm going to use and that is it. I use a rubber shad and jigs alot. Go light and move quick,and for the love ofGOD please wear a PFD!!! I hope someone's wife is reading this and forces her zipperhead husband
