Guys,
Don't forget that the LORAN or GPS is reading your speed over the bottom, while the speedo on the boat/fishfinder is reading your speed through the water. Depending on current that can be a big difference. IMHO the speedo that come with the boats are worthless, but the ones on the fishfiner will give you a pretty good idea of your speed through the water.
