Pressing on with plastic...

Made a couple more new ones today. The first one is a simple tapered round nose swimmer but I made this to test out my laser engraving. I hope to expand this to eventually beyond text to reproduce 3d scales and fin texture. Oh, if you find this on the beach, return it to me, it has my name on it, it is mine, .

The last image is of my "knuckle-joint", the head actually nests inside a deep cavity in the tail. The back end is swiveled deep within the cavity and it can rotate relative to the head endlessly without binding. The wood one swam well with a real struggling action. I really like the way it looks in the water. Quite a bit different, a slightly higher frequency and a little tighter. It may take me a while to adjust the plastic density to get it the way I want it.

I am spending a lot of time refining last years mag-weight minnow, it is gonna be pissa
