Katie - you be introduced to the "light weight" fishing methods. Unlike your Dad, most people feel that dragging 7 rods, bait, spikes, and harmonic balancer puller all of 2 miles is a bit much . When FW speaks of "Girls Day Out", she can give you more specifics but you'll likely bring one medium sized rod, waders (worn warmly), some plugs & tackle in a small bag. This allows you to get around quicker

We're working on your Dad - so far we have gotten him not to bring the tent, cooler, grille, 40 Megawatt Coleman Lantern, and 5" B&W TV when he fishes
