certainly any random shape would get down at 4.5 OZ but I was just asking based on the description if it has a tendency to plane up do to its shape. It reminds me of the Mega Bait jigs which in fact would get down and had the advantage of planing up on a fast retrieve to avoid the canal edge lip. I suppose the only way to know will be to fish some.
I agree canal jiggers couldn't care less about a fancy finish as the life expectancy of a jig is often measured in minutes there.
I'm not trying to bust anyones nuts , I think PJJ offeres some nice products
, I am just curious about actual performance in a booking current. When its posted as a canal jig it invites some serious inquiries.
