Figures. All I could ever catch in freshwater were pickerel and starving perch. Used to liveline the latter for the former before I developed a conscience, some self-respect, and a over-blown ego.
FYI, White marlin eat eels too.
I even saw Sauerkraut try one for Giant Tuna once..........talk about the mother of all eel knots
