This is a good thread for me, as I'm in the middle of buidling an American Tacke M701 (heavy action 7' casting). I glued the tiptop on last night, and was going to start wrapping the guides tonight.

I had initially planned on underwrapping, but after reading Clemens some, had changed my mind and was going to just wrap the guide feet, as its a pretty stiff blank to begin wiht. Now I'm not sure

Would you guys underwrap this rod or single wrap?
