i'm not sure what the deal is with mass maritime...i was just down there saturday and there were several guys tossing herring next to the fence and several more togging at the other end of the beach. i read about the lawsuit too but i don't know the specifics. from what i saw, i would say that the maritime is open (at least during the day).
