Flyfisher, Oregon Beach is at the very end of Main street going into Cotuit, can't miss it as you can go any furthur due to a private road at the end.

Wading Advice for all, you should only be out wading this area, on the last 3 hour of the out going tide and the 1st 3 hour of the incoming tide. NOTE: tide at Cotiut is 1 hr and 17 min after Boston tide. Please be careful down there. The current can be strong, you should always take a buddy with you, especially with fishing for blues, as JohnR said, when you are out there and in the water you are a long way from a Beach to land that fish. If you grab the steel leader, with rod tucked under you arm and get your thumb and 1st finger, just under the fishes gill plate and hold him tight and under control, then get the hook out with your pliers. We always barb down our hooks they are much easier to get out, and I recommend single hook lures only. If you get into them heavy it will save you alot of time and more time for catching.

Good luck and good fishing!!!
