THere are Several Options for this type of fishing which I do alot:
Surf Type
St. Croix Ben Doer 8-9 Footers are nice
Stradic 2000
ROn Arra surf Pro 8 foot one Peice
Stradic 2000
Any Surf type Rod with a 1/2oz to 1oz Rating should be good for long distance casting and a good time. With a Stradic 2000

Inshore Type
St CRoix TideMaster 6'6"-8 Med-l Action
Stradic 2000 or Cardiff 301, ABu 6400, Millionare
Bass Pro inshore Extreme 6'-7'
Stradic 2000 or Cardiff 301, ABu 6400, Millionare
Any rod 6'6"-8' is great Med.L.-Med.H. Action with 3/8-1 1/2oz lure
Stradic 2000 or Cardiff 301, ABu 6400, Millionare
