Man, that is sad. Talk about a long slide down a razor blade.
We had a guy up here in Portland, who had a carry permit. It expired unbeknownst to him. He collected cash from his businesses each night and carried. Police knew him. Knew he had a permit. Stopped him for a traffic infraction. Asked him if he had a firearm. He said yes it's under the newspaper on the seat next to me. They busted him for concealed carry without a permit. I think he's a felon now.
