I started off July with another 20# + fish
Last night, only a 34" and a couple of schoolies.
It's the summer Canal pattern--eels, and jigs fished deep. In the o'dark hours. Plenty of elbow room, even in easy access spots. It's just a lot of work--- 2-3 hours of casting for a handful of hits, and making the most out of them. Gotta stay on your toes--you'll cast for an hour an a half without a tap, then get hits on 2-3 straight drifts, then another hour dry.
