Yeah, I remember the parking at Higgins Beach being kind of a problem. There's a lot near the entrance to the beach road that gets kind of full in the summer; there's almost no parking further down on the beach. I believe the walk from the lot to the inlet is close to a mile; did it in a pouring rain once
The best time to be there is on a weekday with the outgoing tide.
