For you to make a difference, you should do so by trying to elect the officials that will represent you and your views. At this point all you are doing is helping to create some animosity here from others towards those with your position. Some of your points are well argued but you have one terrific flaw. You mentioned that you are an idealist. Unfortunately, idealism just isn't realistic... I know, I was idealist once too - though I had much different ideals...
And I feel that some of these threads have become nauseating, especially where I feel that you dishonor those casualties we've had in Iraq. Now I
KNOW I can make a difference right here as I have ultimate control of the "jiggleable handle" in internet parlance....
