Here is what I think I am going to do, more so because I have all of the materials on hand and it looks like it is pretty fast...
Thin the E tex with denatured alcohol and use that as a sealer, from some post it appears I can just pour it on the plug.
Only thing I am not sure of though is:
How long does it take the etex to dry before priming?
