I know its early August, but the fishing has remained pretty productive all summer. In my experience we typically see a good uptick in fish activity by this month's end. With the new moon coming up around August 22, we should begin what I call fall fishing as fish start schooling up/staging in anticipation of the fall migration.
Don't sit around waiting for the mid/late october "fall run" as you could miss out...its almost here now...
