ive seen since it mid june, fish are in the area but wont hit anything. More swirls behind my lure than strikes, and tailslaps rather than solid takes. i even did the unthinkable one evening after casting for a while....I threw a big rock into the flat calm sea and watched about 50 fish screw, the water swirled everywhere with fish I went home
