The fine is hardly more than the market price for the meat.
This is one reason why I'm in support of the saltwater fishing license. At least then, a person's right to fish can be taken away, since many state fines are a complete joke for the most part.
I don't mind paying $25 if it means these poachers won't be able to go back out tomorrow and legally fish.
They should have taken the Party Boat. Now *that* would have sent a message.
