I didn't even post on this thread.
But while I'm here, JPowers told me about bowstring wax for the ferrules, try it it might work well.
Most of what I learned came from the fishing forums and trying it out, then I pass it back on to others. I just enjoy the heck out of fishing. Some old long haired guy huh?
