Saw show last nite. Awesome. The guy is as good if not even better. Smooth and effortless style and his incredible control of feedback. He has his own style that he has never really strayed from. His multilayer chords and great solos were to die for. He is getting up there in age, 64, as we met him after the show, but man can he play. Matt's choice of seats were fantastic, front row balcony. Can't say how much I enjoyed his playing. Like going back in time, except without the drugs.
Would have been great if Hendrix had lived but I'll bet Robin would have given him all he could handle and I am sure Jimi would have been one of his biggest fans.
