Yes. For proof see: The Patriot Act, invading Iraq, TARP, Auto bailouts, health care "reform".
And I hope to hell the US doesn't get involved with Iran. Iran is not a threat to the US. Iran *is* however a threat to all of eastern Europe. Israel wants to continue their pissing match with Iran, so be it. Let them back it up with their own military.
The US attacks Iran and it will be perceived that the US is trying to destroy Islam. Then, we'll see how many local terrorists there really are.
