I was just curious. I had a decent fish last year that I tried to get weighed, but I could not find anyone with a scale. That should speak to dearth of larger fish - when there are bait shops without scales.
I ended up at a place that had a flat scale and the head and tail hung off the sides and touched the counter - you can't get an accurate read that way. I just said the heck with it after that.
