Got a PB largemouth this year that was around the 8# mark. Freshwater fishing was outstanding from early April through mid May.

Striper fishing was good too. Memorial Day weekend at the canal was fun w /TO, Redlite and Throwing Timber’s identical twin

Then there’s the commando trip with Numbskull and Sauerkraut…despite all the ball busting they’re two of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet and super anglers to boot. I gained much respect for Numby after trying to keep up with him on a remote destination one night…He took a good wave right over his head which nearly floored him, but looked up with a big %$%$%$%$ eating grin on his face and beckoned me to come on out with him…I chickened out though.

Wet suiting was fun and productive as well. Actually it was more fun than productive, but I did get one good one.

For me, fishing is becoming less about the catch and more about the company. Next year my son will be joining me more in the salt.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind
