Better yet, post the realized cost of each position - not just the salary.

The town I lived in laid-off 10 people a while back - 8 public works and two firefighters. The savings was $800,000 this year.

The realized cost should factor in salary, retirement benefits, overtime, average number of disability pensions, regular pensions, and benefits. The true cost of hiring someone for the public sector blows the mind.
