Thank you, Veterans

Thank you, thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifices. Thank you for your tremendous part in making this a great country.

Happy Veterans Day is not the way to put it, it just rings wrong. A heartfelt "Thank You" is far more appropriate.

If you want to thank some veterans, throw some coin in the can the next time you see some older veterans in front of the Supermarket the next time you see them wearing their Korea or Vietnam hats at a table outside the door. Give to a veterans organization. Or just thank a Veteran.

Or you can throw some in the tip jar of the Project Valour-IT drive (Voice Activated Laptops for Our Injured Troops) which provides laptops and other technology devices to assist in the physical and mental recovery of wounded service people.

Five bucks, ten, fifty - more if you can.

If you were a member of a branch or have a connection, donate to one of their teams, or you can donate for Team Navy which S-B supporting. Either way, all funds raised go to support all branches.

Click on the front page and you'll see the directions: Striped-Bass Fishing | Striper Fishing

Right now, the Valour-IT site seems to be a little overrun so try back later...

If you give to Team Navy - shoot me a PM, I'll put those names in a hat and draw something for you

I was not in the service but went to high school on a base overseas and know many that did serve or were brats (dependents) of those serving. I know every little bit helps those that can use this.

Thanks,

John
